A bit of cheer for Liverpool fans on this woeful day!

Two guys were sitting in a bar. The first guy said to the second guy,"You know my parents are forcing me to get married to this so called homely girl from a village whom I haven't even met once. It's called an arranged marriage. I don't want to marry a woman whom I don't love...I told them that openly and now have a hell lot of family problems." The second guy said, "Talking about love marriages...I'll tell you my story. I married a widow whom I deeply loved and dated for 3 years. "After a couple of years, my father fell in love with my step-daughter and so my father became my son-in-law and I became my father's father-in-law. My daughter is my mother and my wife my grandmother. More problems occurred when I had a son. My son is my father's brother and so he my uncle. Situations turned worse when my father had a son. Now my father's son i.e. my brother is my grandson. Ultimately, I have become my own grand father and I am my own grandson. And you say you have family problems…………….Gimme a break !!"

The moral of the story...while your problems may seem bad but when compared to others it might not be as bad as it may seem! Take one step at a time and don't look back!

So Liverpool fans cheer up and get on with life...because there is always next year...

Loss for words...

I want to post something today because it's going to be a while before I do so again...but i'm at a loss for words. I find that unusual because i always have someting to say about anything. Anyway i just tought i'd gte in the mood if i stay here long enough...haha
Well it's been my first week at trying my hand at blogging...and i kinda like it. Although i found out there is more to find out! Yup communities and trains and i don't know what else. It's going to be a journey. In case you're wondering whic island i just swam ashore from...i actually have not loged on at home since my wife got pregnant...that's almost three years! Believe it! Of course in the office it's different but in the office there isn't that much time to play...work work work...and boss if you're reading this...can i get that raise now...hahaha...But seriously...i haven't used this old pc in ages...thats why i keep getting all the those error messages...Been meaning to get me a laptop but never seem to have the time...my goal is to get one this year. SO now that i've said it i have to do it! hehe

Okay feeling a little woozy...time to head off to the land of nod...and join the little one...but being me last day without wifey...i'll probably go watch some tv or something...Yeah wifey returns tomorrow...yahoo...little one is going to be thrilled...i'm sure she misses her mummy just doesn't know why she's gone for so long.

Where has the time gone...

Little one is asleep. So thought i'd take a few minutes to write something today. She's been giving trouble the past few nights at bed-time. You know when we found out that wifey was expecting everyone told/warned us that we would never get a peaceful nights sleep for a long time. Boy they sure weren't kidding. For allof you planning to start a family be forewarned. Hey you can't avaoid it. Besides the rewards far outweigh the pain. To see that smiling face when you get home...so excited that you are back...it's priceless. All your problems that you had at work are forgotten. All your woes are forgotten. That horrible jam you were in...forgotten. All you want to do is just hug with the little one.

Believe me i have to go to the gym now to get in shape (might take a while :) ) so that i can keep up with her. I hate the fact that i have to lose time with her so that i can probably live longer to be with her but it's a fact because I neglegted my health before. SO now it's payback time. The hard part is coming back tired from the gym and trying to entertain an energetic two-year old. Word of advise stay/get in shape before you have kids or you'll regret it.

Wifey called this afternoon...she's leaving Chicago and going to Seattle right about now. She's missing the little one too. Funny thing is the little one stopped asking for her She used to be happy to kss a pic of mummy but i think she's a bit upset (believe me a two year old can get very upset) because yesterday wehn we gae her the pic she ignored it. One can only wonder what is going on in the little one's mind!

Might not be here for long. Once wifey gets back won't have much time for blogging. Besides i only thought i'd give it a try because me best bud said it was cool. It is niceto be able to speak your mind and have folks comment. Must get my new system first because this old one is really getting to me. So hard to make changes and add stuff...i'll just have to wait and see.

Anyway time to call it a night. Sandman's got my number and it's not the dude from Spidey3 hahaha.

Liverpool Lost but that's not important...

Yup Liverpool lost at Fulham (1-0). Well the focus now is on the CL so they did field an understrength side (and rested a few key players) but thats the problem... their reserves just aren't good enough. Just make sure we have a good squad in Athens.
When summer comes so will some new talent, I'm sure.

Anyway that's not important! The little one is still asleep so thought i get in few words before she's up. My litte one was really missing her mummy yesterday. I really felt bad. This is not the first time Mummy has gone away for work and it certainly won't be the last but last year when she went the little one was too young to miss her. This year she's two and knows how to miss her but doesn't understand yet why she's not back from "office" yet. Well I showed her a picture of her Mummy and that seemed to calm her down a little...for now at least. I'm counting the days till wifey is back. Speaking of which we made her a Mom's Day card for her cause she'll be back next Sunday. Just need to get a nice little cake (got to cut back on those calories - but that's another story) and then take her out for a nice lunch. Knowing me, I'll try to sneak her to Chutney Mary's in Bangsar which is my fav lunch spot right now. The food is excellent, well to me at least! I might even give a little review at a later date.

Good buddy it's not that i don't know how but more like my jurassic PC is just not good enough. I keep getting error messages when i try to make changes to the format. And I can't even make changes on the dashboard my friend and i don't even see the header. Anyway when you come later bring your laptop and we'll try from there. Thanks for bumming off from your beloved Agnes and the two lads to help me sort this little problem out.

Day Two - CATastrophe averted

No the CATastrophe had nothing to do with my little one. She slept like a baby (pun intended), although she did get up a couple of times looking for mummy. I managed to soothe her to sleep again without too much fuss. What i'm referring to is the feline maternity hospital i seem to have in my attic. In the past year there have been no less than three deliveries to i don't know how many kittens. For the life of me my neighbours house is empty but no they must snuggle up in my roof. I'm no cat lover nor a cat hater...but this is too much. Maybe cats love me...haha. Anyway the little monsters mew throughout the night and play cat type games up there (that's what probaby woke up my little one) and it can get pretty noisy especially in the dead of night. I'm trying to evict them but they always come back. So any cat lovers out there who want to share in the joy of having a little kitty to play with just give me a buzz and i'll see what i can do. No promises because those darn critters have sharp little claws just waiting to give you a gentle reminder that they like to be treated with care. Yo bud, thanks for the invite, might take you up on it but will give you a call first. Little one is asleep again...thats what i should be doing...but the indian rice i had just now hasn't digested yet. For indian rice lovers there is a little place down in old town that serves a mean prawn varuval (dry curry). If you can brave the smells of the market, it's right next door in the medan selera and is called Usha's. Give it a try sometime. Okay i'm starting to feel a little sleepy, might as well sleep now cause once the little one gets up it's playtime. believe me this morning was filled with Little Einstein's, and Handy Manny and Johnny and the sprite's. Don't worry these are all on your very own astro channels just that most folks without kids may never steer into the depths of the Playhouse Disney channel (63). Believe me i never did until recently too. Ah the joys of parenthood. Ciao.

Howdy folks...this is my first attempt at blogging so bear with me. My wife has just gone out of town for a week and i'm home alone with the baby. I thought that it might be hard with us alone and mom away but so far so good. In fact the little one is fast asleep so i decided to set up a blog for the hell of it to see what it's all about.
